Shipping Policy


At Aquatic Connect, we want to provide you with transparent details about our shipping policies:

  • Currently, we ship using FedEx, UPS, and USPS exclusively to the lower 48 states.
  • Regrettably, we are unable to offer shipping services to Alaska, Hawaii, P.O. Boxes, APO addresses, or internationally.
  • Please note that certain government regulations may restrict the shipping of specific products to various locations, and these restrictions are beyond our control.
  • Please anticipate a 3-5 day handling time for all orders. However, we often strive to dispatch items more quickly.
  • It's important to note that we do not ship orders on weekends.
  • Aquatic Connect cannot be held responsible for mechanical or weather delays by a shipping company.

Dry Items:

  • Dry item shipments are dispatched from Monday to Friday.
  • Shipping costs for dry items are determined by the order total. Refer to the chart below for shipping fee calculations.


    All rates are subject to change.

    Live Items:
    • Orders containing live animals are shipped on Monday through Wednesday via overnight or next day shipping.
    • All live orders are subject to a $59.99 shipping fee.
    • Some live items may qualify for reduced shipping fees ranging from $24.99 to $29.99, as indicated in the item's listing.
    • A $9.99 box charge applies to all live item orders, but you only incur this charge once per order, even if multiple packages are shipped on the same day.

    Temperature and Inclement Weather guidelines:

    • Over 75 degrees: Cold packs are required.
    • Between 65 and 75 degrees: No heat or cold pack is used.
    • Below 65 degrees: Heat packs are required.
    • We will not ship during known severe inclement weather such as storms, hurricanes, or heatwaves.
    • If we feel that a temperature exceeds our shipping comfort we will contact you via phone and/or email.
    We understand that shipping expenses can be a significant part of your purchase. To sustain our commitment to delivering quality products and services, we have reluctantly introduced some of these fees as an unfortunate necessity to cover rising shipping costs. Your understanding is greatly appreciated.
